INVITATION TO THE KATHINA CEREMONY 2025

Dear Dhamma Friend,

Agga Meditation Center warmly invites you to participate in the Kathina Robe Offering to be held on the 12th of October, 2025 (Sunday).

Scheduled events:

10:00 a.m – Puja and Taking the precepts.

10:30 a.m – Dhamma Talk

11:10 a.m – Offering of almsfood to the Sangha and Free Lunch for lay people

1:00 p.m – Procession of Kathina.

2:00 p.m – Offering of Kathina Robes, and Sharing Merit.

Kathina is an annual precious occasion for people to cultivate merits by supporting monastics who spent three-month rainy season retreat in diligent meditation. We hope that you will join us in this great Dhamma festival.

The Weekly program on Sunday as follows :

9:00 a.m. - Take the Three Refuges and Five Precepts, , practice Meditation, Worshiping the Three Jewels, listen to the Dharma, make offerings, dedicate the merits

11:30 p.m. - Lunch , sweep, clean the main hall, kitchen, general cleaning around the temple.
